Biosafety Visitor Induction Flag

Combine explicit visitor-induction requirement and completion flags without granting site access.

Description

Flag a required but unrecorded visitor induction.

Biosafety records distinguish required training, recorded completion, service labels, incidents and document versions. A false outstanding-training flag can mean training was not required, rather than competence being demonstrated. Supplied service-date text or permission assertions do not verify equipment readiness or authorize work.

Flag a required but unrecorded visitor induction.

When to use this tool

Use Biosafety Visitor Induction Flag when you already have visitorId, inductionRequired, inductionRecorded and need to flag a required but unrecorded visitor induction.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter visitorId, inductionRequired, inductionRecorded. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read outstandingInduction. Inspect outstandingInduction before interpreting the associated values.

Require visitorId nonempty; return inductionRequired && !inductionRecorded.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • A false flag does not establish training, competence, permission or safe access. No induction, facility condition or actual record is verified.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Check controlled training, equipment, incident and authorization records through the established safety process. Use appropriate professional assessment for actual work; local status logic and record formatting do not validate containment, competence or operating conditions.
