Analyte Time Support Share Tool

Calculate analyte time support share from explicit caller-supplied inputs.

Description

Return duration-weighted support for one selected analyte.

Biomonitoring records connect specimens, analytical methods, observation durations and exposure windows. Literal matches and coverage shares describe supplied records, while specimen stability, actual exposure and the suitability of a health interpretation require independent measurement and professional assessment.

Return duration-weighted support for one selected analyte.

When to use this tool

Use Analyte Time Support Share when checking the stated specimen record, timing or monitoring-support convention.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter analyteIds, durations, quantifiable, sourceValid, selectedAnalyte. Follow any array-alignment requirements below. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read analyteDuration, supportedDuration, share, defined. Inspect defined before interpreting the associated values.

Return duration-weighted support for one selected analyte. Require aligned arrays and nonnegative durations; analyteDuration sums selected rows, supportedDuration requires quantifiable and sourceValid, share divides or is zero with defined false.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • Support flags are assertions and duplicate records contribute again; this does not establish representative exposure coverage or method validity.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Inspect verified collection and laboratory records and use an appropriate exposure/measurement analysis; seek qualified professional interpretation for health-related decisions.
