Biofabrication Sample Orientation Tag

Preserve an explicit sample orientation label and source without inferring orientation from geometry.

Description

Preserve an explicit sample orientation label and source.

Fabrication records distinguish supplied design versions, geometry, image clocks and material lots. Porosity depends on an envelope-volume definition, compression-positive strain differs from extension-positive strain, and nominal circular nozzle area does not determine printed line width. These scalar terms preserve supplied measurement assumptions.

Preserve an explicit sample orientation label and source.

When to use this tool

Use Biofabrication Sample Orientation Tag when you already have sampleId, axisWording, orientationSource and need to preserve an explicit sample orientation label and source.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter sampleId, axisWording, orientationSource. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read token. Use the output convention below.

Enter sampleId, axisWording, orientationSource using the field constraints below. Encode these values, in exactly that order, as a JSON array and return the serialized array as text in token. String values are preserved without trimming or external terminology lookup.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • The result records supplied values without inferring orientation from geometry. Sources and asserted relationships are not independently authenticated.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Inspect calibrated geometry, controlled design/material records and the complete process model. Use appropriate physical and biological assessment when evaluating a real construct, device or fabrication condition.
