Description

Split grant-acknowledgment tokens by a supplied separator.

Bibliographic records connect authors, versions, publication dates and locators through explicit identifiers. Literal comparisons and counts help reconcile those records but do not retrieve publications, authenticate sources or establish the quality or meaning of a citation.

Split grant-acknowledgment tokens by a supplied separator.

When to use this tool

Use Funding Acknowledgment Grant Token Split when checking the stated bibliographic record, locator, date or counting convention.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter text, separator. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read grants, duplicates. Use the output convention below.

Split grant-acknowledgment tokens by a supplied separator. Require nonempty separator; split and trim, require at most 256 nonempty tokens, preserve unique first-seen grants and list labels repeated in the original tokens.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • Grant syntax, agency identity, award existence and actual funding disclosure are not verified.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Inspect the original publications and authoritative metadata, and use complete identifier-aware reference management for scholarly attribution and evidence appraisal.
