Description
Calculate completion under a supplied scheduled-day inclusion policy.
Behavioral records distinguish observed outcomes, missing observations, response deadlines, code conflicts and sampling opportunities. Unobserved trials differ from observed wrong responses, while time coverage differs from event probability. Supplied observations and cutoff values do not by themselves validate a task or identify a behavioral mechanism.
Calculate completion under a supplied scheduled-day inclusion policy.
When to use this tool
Use Habit Skipped Day Policy when you already have scheduledDays, completedDays, countUnscheduled and need to calculate completion under a supplied scheduled-day inclusion policy.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter scheduledDays, completedDays, countUnscheduled. Follow any array-alignment requirements below. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read denominatorDays, completedCount, completionFraction. Use the output convention below.
Require aligned boolean arrays; include scheduled days or every day when countUnscheduled=true. Require a positive included-day count and return completed included days/denominator.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |
|---|---|---|
| scheduledDays | Scheduled Days | Required. Array of boolean; maximum items 256. |
| completedDays | Completed Days | Required. Array of boolean; maximum items 256. |
| countUnscheduled | True includes all listed days; false excludes unscheduled days from both count and denominator. | Required. Boolean. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| denominatorDays | Denominator Days | Required. Safe integer. |
| completedCount | Completed Count | Required. Safe integer. |
| completionFraction | Completion Fraction | Required. Finite number. |

} Limitations and assumptions
- Completion on excluded unscheduled days is ignored. The tool does not validate dates, infer opportunities, measure adherence or establish habit formation.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Use the complete protocol, observation records and analysis plan. Check missingness, coding rules, timing and sampling design before interpreting local counts, labels or interval fractions as research outcomes or appropriate interventions.
