Portfolio Sequence Label

Number a caller-ordered portfolio work sequence from an explicit positive starting number without reordering it.

Description

Number supplied portfolio work IDs from a stated starting number.

Studio records combine critique categories, time allowances, grid scales, nominal storage counts and permission assertions. A linear enlargement factor must be squared for area, while slot counts do not establish safe physical storage. Supplied rubric labels and participation records do not assess learning or artistic quality.

Number supplied portfolio work IDs from a stated starting number.

When to use this tool

Use Portfolio Sequence Label when you already have workIds, startNumber and need to number supplied portfolio work IDs from a stated starting number.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter workIds, startNumber. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read labels. Use the output convention below.

Require startNumber a positive safe whole number and every work ID nonempty; return start+i followed by a period, space and the original ID.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • An empty list is valid. Addition uses floating point without an output-number safety check, so keep startNumber+listLength-1 safe to avoid rounded or duplicate printed numbers; no portfolio order or authorship is evaluated.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Review the actual classroom, materials, work, rubric and permissions. Use complete educational and physical assessment when local labels, counts or duration budgets cannot establish access, suitable instruction or safe studio arrangements.
