Internal Flow Support Share Tool

Calculate internal flow support share from explicit caller-supplied inputs.

Description

Return volume-weighted support of internal flow records.

Aquaponic records allocate supplied bed area, tank volume, shared resources and observation support. A ratio or target gap depends on what is counted once and on the caller’s chosen target; it does not select a stocking, feeding or plant-production recommendation.

Return volume-weighted support of internal flow records.

When to use this tool

Use Internal Flow Support Share when checking the stated aquaponic allocation, target or record-support convention.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter internalFlows, durations, measured, sourceVerified. Follow any array-alignment requirements below. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read totalInternalVolume, supportedVolume, share, defined. Inspect defined before interpreting the associated values.

Return volume-weighted support of internal flow records. Require aligned nonnegative flows/durations; total sums flow*time, supported requires both measured/sourceVerified flags, share divides or is undefined at zero volume.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • Flags are assertions and repeated intervals contribute again; no actual flow, mixing or biological adequacy is verified.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Use verified system records and qualified aquaculture/agronomic assessment for actual stocking, feeding, plant requirements or operational decisions.
