Claim Qualification Marker

Attach a caller-supplied qualification to a literal claim without evaluating its truth.

Description

Append a supplied qualification to claim text.

Ethical records distinguish assumptions, permissions, role assignments, reported conflicts and source-qualified claims. A supplied truth flag can be negated mechanically without evaluating a rule, while a disclosure marker does not prove an acceptable practice. Ethical interpretation depends on evidence, context and the affected people.

Append a supplied qualification to claim text.

When to use this tool

Use Claim Qualification Marker when you already have claimText, qualification and need to append a supplied qualification to claim text.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter claimText, qualification. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read qualifiedClaim. Use the output convention below.

Require both strings nonempty; output claimText [qualification].1

Limitations and assumptions

  • The claim and qualification are not analyzed. No truth, adequate uncertainty disclosure, ethical acceptability or valid inference is established.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Read the underlying case, source, policy and consent records. Assess duties, authority, affected interests and actual circumstances through the appropriate professional process; local tokens and boolean checks do not resolve an ethical or legal question.
