Description
Find animal records with blank supplied ear-tag codes.
Animal records distinguish measurements, count-time exposure, mass fractions, percentages and nominal feed differences. Offered-minus-refused mass does not verify ingestion, and live-weight loss does not identify its cause. Source labels and scalar rates preserve supplied observations without assessing health or suitable care.
Find animal records with blank supplied ear-tag codes.
When to use this tool
Use Flock Missing Ear Tag Flag when you already have animalCodes, tagCodes and need to find animal records with blank supplied ear-tag codes.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter animalCodes, tagCodes. Follow any array-alignment requirements below. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read missingTagAnimalCodes. Use the output convention below.
Require aligned arrays and unique animal codes; return codes whose corresponding tag trims to empty, retaining original animal-code order.1

} Limitations and assumptions
- An empty animal code is allowed if unique. Nonblank tags need not be valid or unique; no animal identity, actual missing tag or replacement authority is verified.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Review original animal, feed, weighing and observation records with the complete professional assessment. Check sampling scope, calibration and welfare context before interpreting local fractions or count balances as management or clinical conclusions.
