Description
Return duration support among records with a gas channel.
Anesthesia-related research and training records require explicit clocks, missingness flags, exclusions and measurement references. These tools reconcile benign records, simulations or bench data; an acceptable local overlap or composition sum does not establish clinical adequacy or safe patient care. Censored observations provide bounds rather than observed event times.
Return duration support among records with a gas channel.
When to use this tool
Use Monitor Gas Support Share when checking the stated benign record, simulation, timing or bench-measurement convention.
How to use the tool and how it works
- Enter durations, gasChannelPresent, calibrationCurrent, referenceKnown. Follow any array-alignment requirements below. Use the units and conventions below.
- Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
- Read gasDuration, supportedGasDuration, share, defined. Inspect defined before interpreting the associated values.
Return duration support among records with a gas channel. Require aligned arrays and nonnegative durations; gasDuration sums channel-present rows, supported requires calibrationCurrent and referenceKnown, share divides or is undefined when zero.1
| Input field | Meaning and units | Accepted input |
|---|---|---|
| durations | Durations | Required. Array of finite number; minimum 0; maximum items 256. |
| gasChannelPresent | Gas Channel Present | Required. Array of boolean; maximum items 256. |
| calibrationCurrent | Calibration Current | Required. Array of boolean; maximum items 256. |
| referenceKnown | Reference Known | Required. Array of boolean; maximum items 256. |
| Output field | Interpretation | Returned shape |
|---|---|---|
| gasDuration | Gas Duration | Required. Finite number. |
| supportedGasDuration | Supported Gas Duration | Required. Finite number. |
| share | Dimensionless reported share using the selected denominator; not a probability estimate. | Required. Finite number. |
| defined | Whether the associated denominator or reporting quantity is defined; inspect before interpreting zero placeholders. | Required. Boolean. |

} Limitations and assumptions
- Flags are supplied assertions; no gas measurement, actual calibration, patient monitoring adequacy or safe clinical condition is verified.
- Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
- Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.
Alternative or Complementary methods
Use verified source records and appropriate complete analysis for research or quality review; seek qualified medical and engineering assessment for actual clinical care or equipment decisions.
