Farm Event Support Share Tool

Calculate farm event support share from explicit caller-supplied inputs.

Loading tool…

Description

Count distinct event IDs and distinct IDs with at least one row having all three flags true; return their share, or zero with defined=false when empty.

Farm data records connect field, event, sensor and source identifiers with observation and verification flags. Literal keys and supported-record shares help reconcile those records without authenticating a source, identifying a physical object or establishing measurement quality. Repeated IDs may need a different denominator from repeated rows.

Count distinct event IDs and distinct IDs with at least one row having all three flags true; return their share, or zero with defined=false when empty.

When to use this tool

Use Farm Event Support Share when checking the stated agricultural source, identity or record-support convention.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter eventIds, timestampPresent, locationPresent, unitKnown. Follow any array-alignment requirements below. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read events, supportedEvents, share, defined. Inspect defined before interpreting the associated values.

Require aligned event IDs and timestamp/location/unit flags. Count distinct event IDs and distinct IDs with at least one row having all three flags true; return their share, or zero with defined=false when empty.1

Input fieldMeaning and unitsAccepted input
eventIdsEvent IdsRequired. Array of text; maximum UTF-16 length 8192; maximum items 256.
timestampPresentTimestamp PresentRequired. Array of boolean; maximum items 256.
locationPresentLocation PresentRequired. Array of boolean; maximum items 256.
unitKnownUnit KnownRequired. Array of boolean; maximum items 256.
Output fieldInterpretationReturned shape
eventsDistinct event IDs, rather than number of rows.Required. Safe integer.
supportedEventsDistinct IDs with at least one fully supported row; partial rows are not combined.Required. Safe integer.
shareDimensionless share using the operation-specific denominator stated above; not a percentage number.Required. Finite number.
definedWhether the corresponding reporting denominator/value is defined; inspect before interpreting zero placeholders.Required. Boolean.

Limitations and assumptions

  • Duplicate IDs are merged by membership; partial evidence spread across separate rows is not combined into a complete row.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Inspect original records, authoritative identifier schemes and calibrated measurements before merging data or drawing agricultural conclusions.
