Farmer Training Pre Post Score Gap Tool

Calculate farmer training pre post score gap from explicit caller-supplied inputs.

Description

Return post-pre and divide by maximum-minimum for normalizedGain.

Extension-training comparisons depend on score ranges, credit weights, unit factors, plot support and cost bases. A normalized difference or area-scaled harvest describes supplied records rather than proving learning, causal adoption or an agronomic effect. Caller-chosen factors need separate justification.

Return post-pre and divide by maximum-minimum for normalizedGain.

When to use this tool

Use Farmer Training Pre Post Score Gap when checking the stated training, credit, demonstration-plot, unit or cost convention.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter pre, post, minimum, maximum. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read rawGain, normalizedGain. Use the output convention below.

Require maximum>minimum and pre/post scores within that closed range. Return post-pre and divide by maximum-minimum for normalizedGain.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • Normalization uses the full score range, not remaining possible improvement; it does not demonstrate training efficacy or causation.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods
