Extension Resource Pack Per Group Budget Tool

Calculate extension resource pack per group budget from explicit caller-supplied inputs.

Loading tool…

Description

Return floor((packs-reserved)/packsPerGroup) and the remainder.

Extension-service records track resources, attendance, feedback and permission assertions. Distinct people and repeated records have different denominators, and a complete record does not prove valid consent or a high-quality service. Names such as verified describe caller-supplied evidence flags.

Return floor((packs-reserved)/packsPerGroup) and the remainder.

When to use this tool

Use Extension Resource Pack Per Group Budget when checking the stated extension-service record, participation or permission convention.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter packs, packsPerGroup, reserved. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read completeGroups, remainder. Use the output convention below.

Require whole packs>=0, packsPerGroup>=1 and reserved within packs. Return floor((packs-reserved)/packsPerGroup) and the remainder.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • Counts complete groups under equal pack requirements; no resource suitability or actual group attendance is assessed.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Review original service and participant records and the applicable permission/organizational rules for actual use or reporting decisions.
