Course Session Access Window Tool

Inspect supplied session access-window boundaries without assessing accommodation or authorization.

Loading tool…

Description

Test each boundary using >= or > at start and <= or < at end according to the inclusion flags; inside requires both.

Adult-learning budgets allocate supplied time, observations, support hours and optional participation. Elapsed session time differs from assessor person-time or serial per-learner time. A completeness count or feasible time balance does not itself assess competence, accessibility or learning quality.

Test each boundary using >= or > at start and <= or < at end according to the inclusion flags; inside requires both.

When to use this tool

Use Course Session Access Window when checking the stated adult-learning time, participation, resource or support-allocation convention.

How to use the tool and how it works

  1. Enter time, start, end, startIncluded, endIncluded. Use the units and conventions below.
  2. Run the tool. Correct any format, range, or cross-field input error before interpreting the output.
  3. Read inside. Inspect inside before interpreting the associated values.

Require start<=end. Test each boundary using >= or > at start and <= or < at end according to the inclusion flags; inside requires both.1

Limitations and assumptions

  • Equal endpoints admit a point only when both are included; no actual access rights, timezone or recurring schedule is inferred.
  • Inputs must satisfy both the field types and the cross-field conditions above. Invalid input causes an error; a successful false flag or documented placeholder is a different result.
  • Numeric calculations use binary floating point unless exact decimal-integer arithmetic is explicitly stated. No hidden measurement tolerance or decimal rounding is added; nonfinite or out-of-contract results are rejected. Numeric signed-zero results are exported as zero.

Alternative or Complementary methods

Review actual learner needs, activity plans and verified records with the responsible educational team for substantive scheduling and assessment decisions.
