Convert length

Conversion of various lengths into each other. Take a look at all additional length conversions of your measurement below!

Keep in mind most historic measures (e.g. Ancient Persian, Ancient Roman, etc.) are not exact, since there are no 100% definite widths known and these conversions can only be seen as an intersection or reference. Some of these historic measures may be converted as min-max values, to at least demonstrate a range of possible solutions.

What does the E-12 or E+21 behind my result mean?
E stands for exponential, a shorthand notation for very large or small numbers, e.g. 2.7E+12 = 2 700 000 000 000 or 2.7E-6 = 0.000 002 7.
